Mrs. Donna Grissom
Mrs. Grissom received her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Elementary Education and Middle School Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 1985. She taught for 10 years in Colorado and then had the opportunity to stay home with her daughters for several years while she tutored. She obtained her Masters of Education in 1994 and her Texas Principal certificate in 2016.
When her family moved to Wharton 18 years ago, she began teaching again in the third grade at Sivells. She moved to Wharton Elementary when the building was built, and taught fourth grade there. In addition to teaching, she was the Gifted/Talented teacher and Coordinator as well as an Assistant Principal. She is very excited to be back again at Sivells where the learning journey begins!
