Mr. Hawk

Mr. Hawk was born in West Virginia and grew up in Pennsylvania.  He lived in North Carolina before moving to Texas.  Mr. Hawk has been maried to his wife since 1991 and has two children who are both graduates of Wharton High School and are now in college (Sam Houston State University and Wharton County Junior College).

Mr. Hawk's interests include nature, reading, movies, and science fiction.

Mr. Hawk earned his bachelor's of science degree in Biology from Messiah College in 1987. Messiah College is located in Pennsylvania and is consistently one of the north-east's top small colleges (U.S. News & World Report yearly college rankings).

Mr. Hawk received his secondary teaching certification from Wilson College in 1992. Wilson College is located in Pennsylvania and is also listed in the top small colleges rankings (U.S. News & World Report).

Mr. Hawk did his student teaching in Pennsylvania and has been teaching high school science for more than 25 years. He taught for 7 years in North Carolina with the remaining years here at Wharton High School. During the summer Mr. Hawk usually teaches summer school for Wharton ISD.

    2nd Period:  Anatomy & Physiology

    3rd Period:  Anatomy & Physiology

    4th Period:  PLC

    5th Period and B Lunch:  Anatomy & Physiology and B Lunch midway through class period

    6th Period:  Biology

    7th Period:  Biology

    8th Period:  Conference

    Bus Driver starting at 3:40

     

     

Tutorials

  • Students will need to see Mr. Hawk during class time for help OR stay after class for a few minutes.

    Reason:  Mr. Hawk is a bus driver and is unable to meet with students before or after school.

    Students may email Mr. Hawk their questions.  If the email is after school hours, Mr. Hawk might be able to email an answer back but it will depend upon the time, etc. since it is after school hours.
