Mr. Olatunji Oduwole

Mr. Olatunji Oduwole, a professional engineer turned educator, became a teacher through a stint with substituting. His education career has spanned about two decades. He was La Marque ISD 2007 Secondary Teacher of the Year as well as the district's 2016 Principal of the Year.

Mr. Oduwole joined Wharton ISD as the High School Associate Principal in 2016, and became WHS Principal in March 2017. As principal, he worked to uphold the ROAR program, ensured outstanding performance of all students, and added several other Career and Technical Education certification programs.
