Dr. Denise Ware

Wharton ISD
Dr. Denise Ware is currently serving in her 21st year as a school educator. During her tenure, she taught high school, led as a dean of instruction/ assistant principal at the high school level, and served as a Human Resources general manager in Houston.
During her tenure, Dr. Ware has established a reputation of being a focused, strategic educational leader who has a positive record of improving student achievement and recruiting top talent leveraging a variety of sourcing strategies. She is a forward-thinking leader who inspires, supports, and provides exceptional leadership and training to teams, teachers, and colleagues. Dr. Ware has consulted in numerous Texas and Louisiana school districts over the past 20 years. In addition to her consulting work, she was a presenter at the 2017 and 2018 Texas Association of School Personnel Administrators Conference on "Effective Hiring Strategies" and "Grow Your Own Programs."
Dr. Ware is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resources Management, a member of Texas Association of Secondary School Principals and The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Dr. Ware looks forward to recruiting effective talent to ensure Wharton ISD is led by effective leaders and teachers who create an instructional learning environment that allows students to develop the skills needed to compete in today’s global economy.
